There are a few other little design tweaks, but the new navigation should actually make the app a little easier to use. We’ve got a new look for both the grid and list views for how we represent files and folders

We brought more commanding to the top level when you tap “…” (previously the “i” button)Ĥ. We improved our account switcher to be more compact and easier to use for when you have multiple accountsģ. Based on user feedback, we’ve changed our navigation model by adding a tab bar to improve the discoverability and access to all core areas of the appĢ. The team outlined the full changelog on their Google+ page, which you can see below:ġ.

The additional menu items and settings are hidden behind the Me button on the far right. A bottom tab has been added which puts all of the important options right at the tip of your thumb rather than behind the slide-out hamburger menu. The key change, as you can see above, is to the navigation. Center & Right: Old, with hamburger menu. You can probably avoid his by creating a NEW Samsung account, or somehow edit the Samsung account information (I did not explore this possibility).Left: New, with bottom tab. I suspect that Samsung stores the Onedrive account information in the Samsung user profile somewhere. I subsequently tried to reconnect to the SAME Samsung account (it is deleted from the device but not from the Samsung cloud), and the Onedrive problem came back. The next time I started the Onedrive app it prompted me for the account and password and connected to my Premium Onedrive. I tried the proposed fix, and removing the Samsung account immediately solved the Onedrive issue. I uninstalled Onedrive several times, but after reinstallation it automatically connected to the old gmail account, which I was unable to disconnect from Onedrive (grayed out).

I subsequently purchased a subscription using an address, but was unable to connect to it. In my situation, I initially had a Onedrive account on my phone, created using a gmail address as a Personnal address.
